Ratings?
Fi
lm
speeds
or
ASk
(
American
Standards
Association)
ratings
are
a
means
of classifying film
according
to
their
light
sensitivity.
The
higher
the
numerical
rating,
the
more
sensitive
the
film
is
to
light. A film
with
an
ASA of 200 is
more
sensitive
to
light
than
a
fi
lm
rated
ASA
SO
. You
need
less
light
to
take
a
picture
with
a film
rated
at
200
than
you
would
with
a film
rated
at
SO.
