The image will be saved and the camera
will return to Live View.
If Sa
ve is pressed:
Press either the Save or Delete
soft key.
The image will be saved automatically
after 10 seconds if neither button is
pressed.
The image will be saved if the shutter-
release button is pressed part way
down.
TAKING PICTURES
Center the subject in the LCD
monitor or place the viewfinder’s
focus frame on the subject.
Use Focus Hold for off-center subjects
(p. 37).
Press the shutter-release button
the rest of the way down to take
the picture.
Instant Review OFF: The captured image
will appear in the LCD monitor only for as
long as it takes to write it to the memory
card. The camera will return to Live View.
The default Instant Review setting is ON.
See page 58 to turn instant review off.
Instant Review ON: The captured image will
appear in the LCD monitor and Save and
Delete will appear in the soft key label.
Press the shutter-release button
part way down.
Focus and exposure will be determined and
locked.
The green focus lamp will glow if focus is
determined. Repeat steps 5 and 6 if the
focus lamp blinks.
The orange flash lamp will glow if the flash
is charged and ready.
Instant Review ON
Press the Display button to turn
on the LCD monitor if desired.
The LCD monitor’s Live View feature will
continuously update and display what the
lens sees.
ZOOM 1500: Press the Left
button (W - wide) or the Right
button (T - telephoto) until the
image is zoomed as desired in
the LCD monitor or Viewfinder.
