Troubleshooting Chapter 5
Paper wrinkles
during printing.
Possible causes
include:
Paper is not the
proper size.
Paper is not loaded
properly in the tray.
The fusing unit
requires replace-
ment.
Check these conditions
closely and take necessary
action.

for the application software
correspond with the control
panel settings, especially

put prints.
The printer was in
Power Save mode
when the print com-
mand was issued.

The printer setting
was for color transpar-
ency (transparency
sheet) or thick paper
printing.

Change the Print Media set-
ting in the printer driver.
The amount of mem-
ory installed is not
sufficient to process
the print data.
Install the optional expan-
sion memory, which will
allow the print cycle to run
faster.
