GETTING TO KNOW THE VIVICAM 4000

# Name Description
1. Self-timer LED Blinks green during Self-timer mode until the
image is captured.
(AF auxiliary light) Effective for still image capture mode when the
luminance value of Auto and Macro focus mode
is below 6.
2. Viewfinder window Allows you to frame the subject of the picture.
3. Flash Provides flash illumination in one of several modes.
4. Shutter button Focuses and locks both focus & exposure when
pressed halfway down. Captures the image
when pressed all the way down.
5. Zoom lens 3x optical zoom lens allows you to capture
telephoto and wide-angle images.
6. POWER button Turns the Vivicam 4000 power on and off.
7. MIC (Microphone) For recording audio with movies clips and voice
annotations.
8. Mode dial Sets the camera mode.
9. DC IN 5V terminal Allows you to connect an AC power adapter to
operate the camera without a battery, or to
charge rechargeable battery.
10. USB/A/V OUT terminal Allows you to connect a USB cable or an A/V
cable to the Vivicam 4000.
