Canceling Protection
To cancel protection for only one image, display the image that you want to
remove the image protection.
1. Select [Protect] with the / buttons from the playback menu, and press
the SET button.
2. Select [Single] or [All] with the / buttons, and press the SET button.
3. Select [Cancel Protect] with the / buttons, and press the SET button.
The image is no longer protected and the camera returns to the play
mode.
Protecting multiple images
1. Select [Protect] with the / buttons from the playback menu, and press
the SET button.
2. Select [Select] with the / buttons, and press the SET button.
The images are displayed in the thumbnail display.
3. Select the image you want to protect with the / / / buttons, and
press the button.
The protect icon [ ] is displayed with protected images. Selecting a
protected image and pressing the button again will cancel the protection.
4. Press the SET button.
The camera returns to playback mode.
Formatting an SD card overrides protection, and erases all images
regardless of their protected status.
When there are multiple image folders on an SD card, the images of all
of the folders can be selected with the / buttons or the selection
wheel.
