The exposure meter helps you
a great deal in avoiding
incorrect exposures, especially
with color film which needs very
accurate exposure. But the
instrument is equally valuable
for black-and-white films, for it
ensures perfect negatives of
uniform quality that are easy to
Next push the LEICAMETER "MC" into the
accessory shoe of the camera as far as it will go.
Turn the milled setting ring of the exposure meter
backwards again
against the direction of the
arrow
until it audibly engages in the shutter speed
dial of the camera. The camera is now coupled with
the exposure meter. To remove the LEICAMETER
"MC", uncouple the milled setting ring from the
shutter speed dial by setting it to "B", lifting up, and
turning in the direction of the arrow (see illustration
on the right) until the triangular index mark is
opposite one of the figures between 4 and 120.
