PowerDsine RPS devices are designed to provide power supply back up for IP cameras
and other installations that require complete power supply reliability. Networks will
experience guaranteed uptime in case of AC power outage, or internal power-supply
failure. It provides further support through increased power availability to midspan in
the case where powered devices require more power than originally planned. Full
power to all ports can be made available through the low cost addition of a PD-RPS
device to an existing PoE network.

The PowerDsine PoE extender allows for PoE installations beyond 100 M. Multiple PoE
extenders may be used in parallel to extend IEEE 802.3at PoE delivery to as much as
500 M.

The PowerDsine PD-AS-701 high-power active splitters enable data terminals that
were not originally designed to accept Power over Ethernet, to be powered by HiPoE
switches and midspans. The PD-AS-701 high-power series (12 V, 18 V and 24 V) can
power devices such as WiMAX CPEs, small WiMAX base stations, 802.11n access
points, thin clients, PTZ IP cameras, video phones and more.
