8.7 Taking Care of Your A700
Taking good care of your A700 will ensure trouble-free operation and reduce
the risk of damage to your A700.
General Guidelines
Keep your A700 away from excessive moisture and extreme temperatures.
Avoid exposing your A700 to direct sunlight or strong ultraviolet light for
extended periods of time.
Do not place anything on top of your A700 or drop objects on top of your
A700.
Do not drop your A700 or subject it to severe shock.
Store your A700 in a protective cover when not in use.
Do not subject your A700 to sudden and severe temperature changes. This
could cause moisture condensation inside the unit that could damage your
A700. In the event of moisture condensation, allow your A700 to dry out
completely.
Take care not to sit on your A700 when it is located in the back pocket of
trousers, etc.
The screen surface is easily scratched. Use only the stylus to tap on the
screen. Avoid touching it with your fingers, pens, pencils or any other sharp
objects.
Never clean your A700 with its power on. Use a soft, lint-free cloth
moistened with water to wipe the screen and the exterior of your A700.
Do not use paper towels to clean the screen.
Never attempt to disassemble, repair or make any modifications to your
A700. Disassembly, modification or any attempt at repair could cause
damage to your A700 and even bodily injury or property damage.
Keep A700 and its accessories out of the reach of small children.
