Item Description
Certificates
To establish your identify or the identify of other
computers. Certificates help establish your identity
when you are logging onto a secured network, such as
a corporate network. Certificates also help establish
the identity of other computers, such as servers, with
which you connect. This helps prevent unauthorized
users from accessing your A700 and information.
Clock &
Alarms
To change the time and date and to set alarms.
Error
Reporting
To enable or disable error reporting. Error Reporting
sends information needed by technical support groups
to diagnose a program error for a device running
Windows Mobile software.
eUtility
To effectively manage power to prolong the battery’s
operating time. (See “Power Management”
previously for more information.)
GPSSettings
To configure the GPS hardware settings and manage
GPS.
Memory
To temporarily adjust the allocation between storage
and program memory, to view the memory on the
storage card (if installed) and to manually stop a
program if it becomes unstable or program memory is
low.
Power
To show the remaining battery power and to set the
time for A700 to turn off automatically.
Quick
Position
To update the ephemeris file for quicker GPS
positioning. (See “Quick Position” in section 6.11 for
more information.)
Regional
Settings
To specify the region of your location and the formats
of the number, currency, time and date.
Remove
Programs
To remove programs you added to the memory of
A700.
