2.3 Calibrating the Compass
Calibrate the compass whenever needed. For example:
z When the status indicator appears in red.
z When the device has not been used for a long time.
z After significant environmental changes such as location changes and
temperature fluctuations.
1. Have the device outdoors and away from metal objects and magnetic fields.
2. Tap
on the Compass screen.

3. Lay the device flat in your palm. With your palm facing up, swing your arm as
shown on the screen. Do this several times until a message shows to indicate
that the compass is calibrated.
