Note: Mio does not warrant that all types and locations of safety camera data are
available, as cameras may be removed, relocated or new cameras installed.
Updating safety camera data
Occasionally Mio may offer you updates of safety camera data. Visit the Mio website for
available downloads.
The safety camera data may come in various formats.

If the downloaded file is in .raw format, copy the .raw file to the root directory of
your MicroSD card.

If the downloaded file is not in .raw format, you need to convert the data to .raw
format before copying it to the root directory of your MicroSD card. Please check the
Mio website for more information on the conversion instructions.
To update safety camera data, insert the MicroSD card with the .raw file into the recorder
and turn on the recorder. When prompted, select Yes and press the OK key. When the
update is complete, you may need to restart the recorder.
File management
CAUTION: Deleted files cannot be recovered. Make sure to back up your files before
deletion.
To delete files:
1. Press the Menu key to access the Settings menu.
2. Select File Deletion and press the OK key.
3. Select the desired type and press the OK key.
4. Select the desired file from the list and press the OK key.
