How do I activate Truck mode after the free trial?
Your Mio comes with pre-activated Truck mode service for one-month free trial. You will be prompted to
purchase (from Mio e-shop online) and re-activate the service when the trial period has expired.
A product key will be sent to you via email when you have subscribed. You will need to use this product key to
activate your subscription. (For more information, refer to the “What is MioMore Desktop?” section.)
Pedestrian mode
The Pedestrian mode allows you to navigate to your destination using roads and paths appropriate for a
pedestrian, including road where driving may be prohibited (like pedestrian zones for example).
When in Pedestrian mode, you will not be routed onto motorways and their associated on/off ramps (slip
roads). If your destination is more than 10 kilometres (6.3 miles) away, a warning message is displayed
indicating that the route is a long way to walk.
How can I set my navigation mode to Pedestrian?
1. On the Main Menu, tap .
2. Tap
Pedestrian
.
When in Pedestrian mode, your route will be displayed using icon.
