4. FIRST-AID MEASURES
First Aid Measures
General Advice
If exposed or concerned: Get medical advice/attention.
Eye Contact
Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and
easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a poison center or doctor/physician.
Skin Contact
IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical
advice/ attention. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.
Inhalation
IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for
breathing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.
Ingestion
IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. Rinse
mouth.
Most important symptoms and effects
Symptoms
Causes serious eye damage. Causes painful stinging or burning of eyes and lids, watering
of eyes. Causes skin irritation. Can be harmful if ingested. Ingestion may cause irritation,
nausea, vomiting. Inhalation may cause dizziness, headaches, irritation.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
