POTENTIAL HEALTH HAZARD(Acute and Chronic):
EYES: Mild eye irritant. Direct contact with the solution may cause slight iridal and con-
junctival irritation. No permanent damage is anticipated.
SKIN: Can be mildly irritating upon prolonged exposure (liquid stage only).
INGESTION: Can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
INHALATION: Gross over-inhalation may cause symptoms such as, but not limited to,
coughing. May aggravate pre-existing lung disorders.
4. First Aid Measures
EYES: Flush immediately with clean, free flowing water for 15 minutes. Consult a physi-
cian if irritation persists.
SKIN: Remove wet clothing and launder before re-use. Wash thoroughly with soap and
water affected area.
INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious
person. Rinse out mouth with clean water. Get medical attention.
INHALATION: Remove person to fresh air. If not breathing, administer artificial respira-
tion including oxygen. Provide medical attention.

Observe precautions from other sections. Collect any spills with absorbent material
such as vermiculite.
Place collected material in a polyethylene lined metal container and seal. Clean up
residue with water.
Dispose of in accordance with Federal, State and Local Regulations.

Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid prolonged and repeated skin contact. Avoid breathing
vapors. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid eye contact. Always wash hands thorough-
ly before eating, drinking, smoking or using the bathroom. Store in a cool dark place.

NIOSH/MSHA jointly approved respirator must be supplied to personnel and used in

ignitability, corrosivity, or reactivity and is not listed in 40CFR 261.33 The toxicity charac-
teristic (TC), however, has not been evaluated by the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching
Procedure
(TCLP). If discarding this material coagulate the emulsion by the stepwise addition of
ferric chloride and lime. Remove the clear supernatant and flush to a chemical sewer.
For disposal, incinerate or landfill in a permitted facility in accordance with local, state
and federal regulations.
