PRODUCT DE SCRIPTION
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Mira Matte is a unique product
designed to enhance the natural color of all flamed, sandblasted, split
faced, tumbled and textured surfaces. When used with one of our Miracle
Penetrating Sealers, Mira Matte seals and protects while leaving a beauti-
ful, low maintenance, color enhanced satin sheen. Mira Matte allows vapor
to escape while offering a scuff and weather resistant surface. Mira Matte
is U.V. transparent, will not yellow and can be used on both interior and
exterior applications.
Sample Testing
Due to the differences of each material, several inconspicuous test patches
should be completed to assure maximum performance. User must deter-
mine suitability of the product for their intended use.
Protect Neighboring Surfaces
Always protect neighboring surfaces including wood, carpet, metal, land-
scaping and other non masonry surfaces.
Polish Enhancement
Not recommended.
NEW INSTALLATIONS - APPLIC ATION INSTRUCTIONS
Read entire label and PDS/MSDS before using. Mira Matte should not be diluted or
thinned in any way
.
Mira Matte
should be used as is direct from approved container.
Before Grouting: Apply Miracle Penetrating Sealer to all surfaces. This step
will allow quick and easy cleanup after grouting. Grout can stain many sur-
faces if this procedure is not used. Apply Miracle Penetrating Sealer using
a Mira Brush Applicator or a clean white towel. Apply enough to wet the
surface. Be careful not to saturate the open grout joints. Allow Miracle
Penetrating Sealer to stand for approximately 1 - 5 minutes for maximum
penetration. Any excess sealer remaining at this time should be removed by
wiping the surface with a clean dry towel. Typically we do not recommend a
second application of sealer when utilizing Mira Matte. Allow Miracle
Penetrating Sealer to dry 6 - 12 hours before continuing with the grouting
procedure per manufacturers specification.
After Grouting: Once grouted make sure that all grout residue is removed
from the surface with a clean sponge and water. Allow grout joints to dry at
least 24 hours. If grout clean up is not performed effectively, additional
cleaning may be necessary to remove remaining grout residue or haze. For
this procedure use GCFR (Grout, Concrete & Film Remover) (hydrochloric
acid), Phosphoric Acid Cleaner , Sulfamic Acid Crystals or Epoxy Grout
Film Remover as directed. Once the area has completely dried, proceed
with the sealing of the grout for water and stain resistance. Apply Miracle
Penetrating Sealer to all grout as directed. Allow sealer to dry a minimum
of 1 hour. Apply Mira Matte to the entire surface using a natural fiber brush,
terry cloth towel or pump sprayer (exterior use only). If a pump sprayer is
used, Mira Matte should be evened out with a brush before it dries. Work
small areas 30 - 60 square feet (3 - 6 square meters) at a time. Do not allow
Mira Matte to puddle on the surface. Multiple applications may be neces-
sary to achieve the desired results. Proceed with subsequent applications
after the previous application has dried to the touch (approximately 1 - 2
hours). Be sure to even out Mira Matte on the surface, blending in overlap
marks.
Existing Installations - Surface Preparations
Surface must be dry and free of contaminant, including previously applied
s
ealers, dirt, lime & hard water deposits, efflorescence, rust & other heavy
dirt and grime.
Surface Coating/Wax Removal: To remove existing coatings and/or waxes,
use Mira Strip or H2O Strip per the instructions.
Heavy Duty Cleaning: To remove lime, hard water deposits, efflorescence,

ust and other heavy dirt and grime use GCFR or Phosphoric Acid Cleaner
as directed. If an additional non acid deep cleaning is necessary use Liquid
Poultice as directed.
Light Cleaning: Use Mira Clean #1, Mira Soap or Counter Kleen as
directed.
Existing Installations - Application Instructions:
Follow the application instructions previously mentioned, except now, seal
the grout joints at the same time as the rest of the tile or stone surface.
When treating surface and grout at the same time, make sure all grout
joints are saturated with Miracle Penetrating Sealer. Once the sealer is dry
to the touch (1 - 2 hours), proceed with the application of Mira Matte color
enhancer as previously mentioned. For added color where maximum stain
repellency is not required, use Mira Matte by itself.
Mold, Mildew and Bacteria Sanitation
For best results in killing mold, mildew, bacteria and other micro organisms,
use Miracle Wipes as directed.
Cure Time
Mira Matte will be dry to the touch in 2 - 4 hours and may be used for nor-
mal foot traffic. For optimum results the area should be kept dry and free
from staining materials for 72 hours.
Coverage
Coverage will vary depending on the density, porosity, texture, surface
absorption, weather, time solution left on surface and application methods.
Used as directed, Mira Matte will cover approximately 50 - 200 square feet
per quart (4.5 - 8 square meters per .948 liters).
MAINTENANCE

Storage
Store Mira Matte in the original container, properly sealed to avoid contam-
ination and solvent evaporation. Stored at 77

have a shelf life of 12 months. Do not allow to freeze.
