7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Precautions for safe handling
Advice on Safe Handling
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Use personal
protection recommended in Section 8. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Follow all
product label instructions. Use only as directed. Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid
spillage which can cause very slippery conditions on floors. Use only in well-ventilated
areas.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Storage Conditions
Keep container tightly closed and store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Keep out of
the reach of children. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Keep/store
only in original container. Store containers upright. Keep from freezing.
Incompatible Materials
Reacts with hydrofluoric acid: soluble in HF. May react with hydrofluoric acid (HDAC) to
form toxic silicon tetra-fluoride gas.

This product, as supplied, does not contain any hazardous materials with occupational
exposure limits established by the region specific regulatory bodies.

General Hygiene Considerations
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Work hygienic
practices: Wash hands thoroughly before handling foodstuffs, liquids or tobacco products.
Use common sense and care around chemicals. Never mix this product with other
chemicals. Consult your supervisor for all other hygienic and safety practices. All practices
depend on your specific business. Directions for use normally found on label which will
dictate engineering and control measures. Avoid vigorous shaking of bags. Remove dust
from clothing by using vacuum hose, not by blowing off with compressed air.
