This manual will provide you with clear and detailed instructions on how to safely and correctly assemble and maintain your fixed shutter wall, to ensure it brings you many years of use and enjoyment. IMPORTANT Please read the entire manual carefully before installing and using your fixed shutter wall, and please ensure the manual is kept in a safe place for future reference.

BEFORE ASSEMBLING YOUR FIXED SHUTTER WALL WARNING: Improtant safety instructions. Follow all instructions, since incorrect installation can lead to severe injury. Make sure you have all the tools required for assembling your fixed shutter wall In order to assemble your fixed shutter wall safely and correctly, please ensure you have access to the following tools and accessories, all of which are not provided.
Select a suitable location: The ground should be solid and flat The ground should be level The fixed shutter wall must be positioned and fixed on a properly installed Mirador pergola, which is installed on a flat concrete ground, providing proper stability. >2.5° Warning: Most terraces or patios are designed with a slight slope to prevent (rain) water from forming pools or reaching the house or other structures.
IMPORTANT SAFETY ADVICE For the safety of all persons installing and using the fixed shutter wall, it is important to follow the safety guidelines below. It is recommended that two people lift the fixed shutter wall once assembled. Ensure you lift with the correct posture & technique. Always wear appropriate work shoes, gloves and eye protection when working. Work well away from power lines, particularly when handling metal parts.
Do not assemble the fixed shutter wall when you find damaged parts or any parts missing. Only use replacement parts that are approved by the manufacturer. Please recycle packaging where possible. After prolonged use we recommend you check all the fittings are tightened securely. Mirador® Approved 6 Install on non-Mirador branded pergola will void the product warranty and can damage the operation mechanism.

ASSEMBLY 1. Vertical & horizontal beam assembly Installation Video 1A The assembly direction of the vertical beams ( A & B ) will change according to the final installation position of the fixed shutter wall. Notice: Pay attention to the direction of vertical beams before assembly. a b a Fixed shutter wall a: The vertical beams are in position ( A & B ). Fixed shutter wall b: The vertical beams are in position ( A' & B' ) .
1B Secure the aluminum louvers left vertical beam I I x6 E x3 B x1 B/B' E I to the with screws . Use 2 screws per louver E , using electric screwdriver. a E B' b 1C Insert all the louvers F B/B' into the left vertical beam F B/B' B B/B' . F x 30 1D Place the right vertical beam A/A' onto the louvers, and secure with 6 screws I , using electric screwdriver.
1E Insert the horizontal top bar D D B/B' and D horizontal bottom bar to the top and bottom sides of the assembled frame. C B/B' Notice: Pay attention to the direction of D . A/A' C x1 D x1 C 1F A Use electric screwdriver to secure the horizontal top bar D to the assembled frame with 6 screws H horizontal bottom bar a b D , and the C A' H to the assembled frame with 8 screws H . Notice: The louvers must run downwards.
1G Install the foot pads G to the bottom of the fixed shutter wall with screw I , using electric screwdriver. A/A' C A A' I x8 G G I x2 a b 1H Repeat steps - 1G to assemble the other fixed shutter walls.
2. Install the fixed shutter wall onto a Mirador ® pergola 2A Position the fixed shutter wall (against the pergola pillar or in the center ), make sure the fixed shutter wall is perpendicular to the ground. mark the position of the drill holes on the ground with pencil. Remove the wall, drill holes with hammer drill and knock in the plastic expansion pipe K with hammer.
2B Hook the fixed shutter wall onto the beam of the pergola. Fix the fixed shutter wall to the ground with screw J , using electric screwdriver. J a J x4 2C If you plan to install three fixed louver walls on one side of the pergola, be sure to start with the fixed louver walls on both sides. Adjust the gap between walls to ensure that the three fixed shutter walls are equally spaced. Repeat steps 2A - a a 2B to install other fixed shutter walls.

CARE & MAINTENANCE Dust and dirt will collect on the fixed shutter wall and will require periodic cleaning. Use a water/detergent mixture and a soft clean cloth to clean the fixed shutter wall. Air dry or wipe with a soft clean cloth. In coastal areas, it is recommended that you frequently spray the fixed shutter wall with water to reduce accumulation of salt and dirt. From more soiled areas, rinse the surface with clean water from top to bottom.
