Features
• Can be used as a Mass Notication Enclosure, or for
Commercial Fire Alarm Command Center Enclosure
as well as a remote Node Enclosure on a Network

• Comes standard with 2 Cat-30 Keys/Locks or a Thumb
Twist Lock can be ordered for the upper door for Mass
Notication use
• Can accommodate all the FleXNetTM Fire Alarm and
modular audio models
• Backbox is black with either white doors (BBX-FXMNS)
or red doors (BBX- FXMNSR)
• The BBX-FXMNS accommodates a RAXN-LCD
Annunciator which is designated an ACU (Autonomous
Control Unit) and a Master Microphone to provide
emergency audio
• The BBX-FXMNS backbox is used for the mass
notication node. It can be populated with 2 paging
modules, 9 adder modules and 7 display modules. It
also supports the addition of 4 audio ampliers along
with audio and telephone networking cards.
• The outer dimensions of the BBX-FXMNS t within 63.5”
X 22.5” X 9.5”
• Below this is a display LCD the DSPL-420-16TZDS,
DSPL-420 or DSPL-2440 which may be used for
service; this display will show all messages. All displays
are optional and can be arranged in any order.
• Up to seven FX-LOC(R)s can be connected to any
MNS node
• The FX-LOC(R) Local Operating Console along with the
FleX-NetTM Network Fire Alarm provides compliance
with the Mass Notication System (MNS) UL 2572

Description
The BBX-FXMNS mass notification enclosure is
designed for Integrated Fire and Audio consisting of a
backbox, a two part door, a display and deadfront (inner
door). Fire emergency detection and evacuation are
critical to life safety and the Flex-Net Mass Notication
enclosure is ideally suited for these applications.
Mircom’s Flex-Net system is suited for all applications
as it features a modular design for all project
