We, as Mirkit company, are pleased to share access to software needed for

programming your radio as well as our special firmware channel list – the list of most common

used channels.

Compatible ONLY with Windows!

Please note that using of the programming software is your own risk and we do not take any

responsibility according to that.

Use the link below to get access to the folder "mirkit-chanellist-soft_for_PC" with files:

• Chirp_Mirkit_installer.exe – program for flashing radio sets.

• mirkit-chanellist_v1_2019.csv – file with special Mirkit firmware, contains the list of most used

radio frequencies in USA, including emergency, search & rescue, marine channels.

• MIRKIT RADIO channel list 2019.pdf – detailed description of the channels and their specification.

• mirkit-instruction_win_2019.pdf – detailed step by step instruction for the programming process.

Also you'll find folders with the ready "firmware images from Mirkit" which we suggest to use for

the easiest flashing of radio according to each model variety:

• Baofeng_UV-5R.img – for Baofeng radios UV-5R series by Mirkit Edition.

• Baofeng_UV-5RA.img – for Baofeng radios UV-5RA series by Mirkit Edition.

• Baofeng_UV-82.img – for Baofeng radios UV-82 series by Mirkit Edition.

So, for programming purpose you will need to download and install the Chirp_Mirkit_installer.exe

and choose one of .IMG files according to your radio model.

After that please follow the next steps:

Step 1.

Run the CHIRP Programming Software. Click to Radio on the menu bar and choose Download

From Radio. Choose the COM Port number for the USB cable, then the Vendor and the radio's

model from the drop down list in the pop-up box . Your radio should be connected to the

computer and CHIRP should now be able to communicate with it.

TIP: If you have such message - it means that you choose the wrong COM port. Choose another COM port or plug the cable to other USB port. Step 2. Click the File button and choose Import in the list below. Step 3. Choose the right *.IMG file that suits your model and click Open.

TIP: If you see this message - No worries! It means that you went to the "Settings" menu in Chirp and not stayed in the "Memories" menu. Nothing critical, just choose the "Memories" mode in the left bar. Step 4. Click the Radio button and then choose option Upload to Radio. Step 5.
