Installation Manual
1. Preparing the installation
Due to the variety of potential installation options, this guide is a general overview and not a plan.
Cut out the appropriate template for your sink model and desired installation option (flush, recessed,
reveal). Place the template in the desired location on your countertop, locating the center of the bowl over
the cabinet center with clearance for your faucet holes.
Once you’ve decided on a location, double-check that you will have proper clearance for the
faucet and backsplash, then trace the template outline onto the countertop.
Thoroughly clean the sink flange using denatured alcohol to remove any oil and grease from
manufacturing. Apply a medium-sized bead of silicone sealant around the entire rim of the sink flange.
Make sure all mounting hardware is clear of the sink opening, then position the sink under the cutout and
press it to the bottom of the countertop. It is recommended that two people complete this step.
Rotate four corner brackets to the point where the bent end lightly secures the sink, then reposition the sink
from above until the sides are aligned according to the installation type chosen. Tighten down all brackets.
Wipe away excess silicone with a damp rag. Plumb drain and water supplies (for faucet) according to local
building codes and manufacturer recommendations.
Allow 24 hours for silicone to cure before using your sink.
2. Cutting the countertop
3. Setting the sink
At this point in the installation it is recommended that you first drill the faucet holes and install the faucet.
Once the faucet has been installed, do a final check to make sure the sink flange will clear all parts of the
faucet that protrude into the cabinet. Reposition template and retrace line if necessary.
Drill pilot holes 1” inside the template line at each corner, and then 6-8” apart along all sides. Now cut out
the sink hole along the outline with a jigsaw or scroll saw, using the pilot holes as necessary. It is recom-
mended that you support the cutout section to prevent it falling and causing injury to the installer or
damage to the countertop. Clean up the edges of the cutout with a file or sandpaper.
Install the mounting bracket studs around the opening on the underside of the countertop using a quick-
setting epoxy, while also leaving adequate clearance for the sink flange. Once the epoxy has cured,
loosely attach the mounting clamps and butterfly nuts to the studs in preparation for step 3.
