INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

01 | remOViNG THe FacTOrY FaN sHrOUD

1. Jack up the car and secure it on jack stands.

2. Remove the lower splash shield. (Hardware will vary between

model years.)

3. Locate the drain plug and drain the coolant.

4. Disconnect the upper radiator hose from the radiator.

5. Disconnect and remove the coolant reservoir tank from the fan

shroud. First remove the feed hose, and then release the pop clip to

disconnect it from the fan shroud.

6. Disconnect the electrical harnesses for the fans.

7. Unbolt the fan shroud from the radiator by removing the ﬁve 10mm

bolts that hold them together.

8. Remove the factory fan shroud.

It is secured to the radiator by three 10mm bolts on the top, and three 12mm nuts and bolts on the bottom. 2. Reinstall the coolant reservoir tank, which is secured to the fan shroud with two 10mm bolts. Then reconnect the coolant feed hose to the reservoir. 3.
