Pairing with Another Bluetooth Device
1. Make sure that the Bluetooth function of the other device is turned on.
2. Open the App drawer and tap Settings
Connected devices
Pair new device.
3. The device will automatically scan for available Bluetooth devices.
4. Tap the desired device from the list to initiate pairing.
5. Make sure that the same passkey is displayed on your device and the other device, and then
tap PAIR.
Turn off the Bluetooth function when not in use to save battery power.
Disconnecting a Bluetooth Connection
1. Open the App drawer and tap Settings
Connected devices.
2. Tap the desired paired device.
3. When prompted to disconnect, tap OK.
NFC
This feature is not available on all models.
The Near Field Communication (NFC) feature allows you to easily transfer data to an NFC-compatible
device, read and write information to contactless cards and NFC-compatible devices, and more.
The NFC area is located at the lower right corner of the device's front panel. The distance of the two
devices to communicate should be within the range of 4 cm.
Turning NFC On and Off
1. Open the App drawer and tap Settings
Connected devices
Connection preferences.
2. Tap the NFC switch to turn it on ( ) or off ( ).
Transferring Data Using NFC
1. Access the data you want to share, access the share options, and tap Android Beam.
2. Touch the screen of your device.
3. Hold the lower right corner of your device close to the NFC sensor of the other device.
4. Pay attention to and accept the beam notication on the other device.
Reading a NFC Card
You can use your device to read NFC cards. Simply launch the NFC-enabled application (not
included) and then move the contactless card close to the NFC sensor of the device. Keep holding
the card until the transaction is complete.
