BC – One-piece design for double 2x’s to a 4x post.

C – One-piece design.

Materials: 18 gauge

Finish: G90 galvanizing;

BC400-TZ – G-185 galvanizing

Installation:

• Use all specied fasteners.

See Product Notes, page 17.

• These products are designed to work with single,

solid-sawn beams, but can be used with built-up

beams. When installed to multiple beams made up

of 2x lumber and shims, fasten the plies and shims

together to act as a unit.

1) Allowable loads have been increased 60% for wind or seismic loads; no further increase shall be permitted.

2) Minimum nail embedment shall be 1-5/8" for 16d nails.

NAILS:

10d x 1-1/2 nails are 0.148" dia. x 1-1/2" long, 16d nails are 0.162" dia. x 3-1/2" long.
