MUS / HUS Slant Nail Truss Hangers
The MUS / HUS hanger series offers double shear nailing.
MiTek’s raised dimple allows for 30° to 45° nailing through
the joist into header, resulting in higher loads and less nailing.
Materials: MUS – 18 gauge; HUS – 16 gauge
Finish: G90 galvanizing

Installation:
• Use all specied fasteners. See Product Notes, page 18.
• Joist nails must be driven in at a 30° to 45° angle through
the joist or truss into the header to achieve listed loads.
Slant/double shear nails must be used to achieve listed
load values.
• See HUS EWP applications on page 214.
The buttery hanger’s ared header ange design allows for added nailing.
Excellent truss-to-truss hanger for 2x4 purlin or truss bottom chords.
Materials: 18 gauge
