VCB Services Properties
VCB Services define the usage of resources used during an ad-hoc
videoconference.
The VCBs services are automatically listed in the 5700 VFA Administrator after
installation of the VCB and restart of the computer. One directory number is
created for each service type. At any time, you can add or edit service entries from
the Main View.
É To set the Properties for VCB Services
1. Double-click the VCB Service. The Properties dialog box for the VCB
opens to the General tab.
2. Change properties according to your ad-hoc videoconferencing
specifications, or keep the default settings (for descriptions of the
properties, see the following subsections).
3. To implement the changes and proceed to another tab in the dialog box,
click Apply and then the appropriate tab.
4. To implement all the changes and close the dialog box, click OK.
The following subsections describe the VCB Service properties.
Bandwidth The bandwidth available for each party in the multipoint
conference.
Audio
Format The audio codec and algorithm used in the multipoint
conference.
