Additionally, the “ringtone webui lock” parameter can be used to restrict Web UI cus-
tom ringtone installation functionality in the User Web UI (by defining the parameter
as “1”) or restrict functionality in both the User and Administrator Web UIs (by defin-
ing the parameter as “2”).
Configuring the Custom Ringtone Feature Using the Configuration Files
Use the following parameters to configure the custom ringtone feature.
Note:
The “ringtone webui lock” parameter is disabled (i.e. the Custom Ringtone menu is
available in both User and Administrator Web UIs) by default.
Parameter –
custom ringtone N
(where N = 1 to 8)
Configuration Files
aastra.cfg, <model>.cfg, <mac>.cfg
Description Specifies the location and filename of the custom ringtone to be
installed on the phone.
Format String (up to 256 characters)
