On multilane roads, the system can display
lane recommendation = for the next change
of direction. During the change of direction,
additional lanes may be displayed.
Announcing the street names
If the function is switched on, the name of the
street which you are turning into is
announced.
Street names may be announced in the fol-
lowing languages:

Danish

German
R
English
R
French
R
Dutch
R
Portuguese
R
Swedish
Announcements are not made in these lan-
guages in all countries. They are made when
relevant street names for the selected lan-
guage are available in the database.

To switch on navigation mode: press the
Ø function button.

To show the menu: press W the COMAND
controller.

Select Navi in the main function bar by
sliding ZV the COMAND controller and
press W to confirm.

Select Announce street names and press
W to confirm.
Depending on the previous status, the func-
tion is switched on O or off ª.
