z Room temperature may rise 2-4°C during operation z The unit can operate in a room temperature range of 1-35°C. The dehumidifier is not capable of cooling or warming a whole room. Due to heat produced during operation, the room temperature may rise. As a result, the unit may blow warm air, but this is not to a malfunction. However, if the room temperature exceeds 35°C, the unit may operate in blower mode or increase the airflow.
Precautions The following diagrams indicate circumstances where danger can result from mishandling the unit. WARNING Mishandling may result in fatal or serious injuries. CAUTION Mishandling may result in injuries or damage to your home or property, etc. Meanings of the graphic symbols used in this manual and on the unit are explained below. Water may leak into the unit adversely affecting electric insulation and cause electric shock and/or fire by short-circuiting.
Precautions (cont.) CAUTION Install the unit in a location where the floor is flat and stable. If the unit falls over, the water collected in the water tank may leak damaging surrounding objects and in turn result in fire or electric shock caused by an electrical leak. Before moving the unit always switch it off, unplug it and remove water from the water tank.

LAUNDRY HIGH DEHUMIDIFYING AUTO, HIGH, LOW Cool air Before using the unit CURRENT HUMIDITY Indicator This indicates the approximate current humidity (The current humidity is displayed in a range from 30 to 80%). The air outlets for warm air and cool air generated by dehumidifier cycle ( P3 ) are switched automatically depending on the operating mode. Warm air Cool air and warm air are blown from the main air outlet.
Before using your dehumidifier Set the silver ion filter The silver ion filter is supplied with the unit at time of purchase. Please fit before using the unit. 1 2 Remove the silver ion filter from the polyethylene bag. 4 Set the filter cover. Insert the bottom tabs into the unit until they click. Remove the filter cover. Performance is unaffected even if the metal fins inside the main unit are slightly bent. 3 Note Pull forward to remove Make sure the silver ion filter is attached to the unit.

Tips on Drying Laundry To dry laundry quickly and neatly How to Hang Clothes Fully extend the clothes to remove any wrinkles. Leave space between clothes to allow air to easily pass through them (Guideline for spacing: Approximately 5 cm) Hang any difficult to dry items in positions where air flow can easily come into contact with them. Clothes placed close together will take a longer time to dry.

Condensation prevention and cool air (Spot Air) Use spot air when you want to prevent condensation on windows or you want cool air to be blown at a specific location. About AUTO OPERATION IN EASY DEHUMIDIFYING The unit operates intermittently to control the airflow to remove the dampness in the air. When the room temperature is high, the fan operates to reduce the rise in room temperature.
Using Louvre The louvre can be made to swing. Select from the 4 possible settings to suit the purpose. During operation, press to select the louvre swing direction The swing direction changes with the touch of a button z Stop swing operation To stop the louvre at the desired angle When you want to dry training shoes Swing stops (lamp turns off) To cover the entire room Information The louvre can be adjusted to a desired angle by hand while the swing operation is stopped.
Using OFF Timer You can select an operating time from 2, 4, and 8 hours. When the set time is reached, the unit switches itself off automatically. Set the OFF timer while the unit is ON. 3 You can lock the switches. Use this function when you want to stop children operating the unit. 2 When the water tank becomes full, dehumidifying is not possible because the unit automatically shuts down. Empty the water tank before operating. Press seconds The child lock lamp lights.
Removing Odour from Clothes (Clothes Deodoriser) The unit operates for approximately 1 hour to remove odour from clothes. The airflow rate and compressor are automatically controlled. Use this operation when you want to remove odour from clothes that are not frequently washed, such as suits and sweaters. Preparation Hang clothing and then place the dehumidifier beneath. How to Hang Clothes Secure hangers so they will not be moved by airflow.
Internal Drying Operation The inside of the unit can be dried to suppress mildew growth on the cooler. On days the dehumidifier is used, internal drying is recommended. Automatic operation Manual operation To activate internal cleaning after every use.
Draining The unit automatically shuts down and the Tank Full lamp is lit when the tank is full. Empty the tank. When the tank becomes full, the FULL lamp lights. 1 3 Remove the water tank. Information Tank Full lamp lights. (The unit beeps continuously). The CURRENT HUMIDITY indicator goes out. Airflows stop after air is blown for approximately 2 minutes. After removing the water and replacing the tank, the Tank Full lamp will go off, and the unit will automatically return to operation mode.
Continuous Drainage If a drain is available, the unit can continuously drain excess water by attaching a commercially available hose (internal diameter 15mm). The unit can be operated for extensive periods without the need to empty the water tank. Commercially available hose (I.D. 15mm) Long enough to reach the drain. Items to prepare CAUTION Do not drain water continuously if there is a possibility that temperatures around the hose could drop below freezing point.
Maintenance Do not use detergents, cleaning agents for heat exchange equipment, abrasive powders, chemically treated dusters, gasoline, benzene, thinners or other solvents, as they can damage the unit or the water tank, which may result in leakage. Once Every Two Weeks Silver Ion Filter, Air Intake, and Sensor Clogging with dust and the like reduces the effectiveness of the dehumidifying. Clean once every two weeks.
Once Every Three Months Silver Ion Filter (Soak in Water) Soaking the silver ion filter in water enables you to remove fine dust and odour from the silver ion filter. Storage and Disposal Storage When disposing the unit After switching the unit off, leave for one day until any water inside has had time to settle. Troubleshooting For the symptoms listed below, refer to the remedies listed right. Symptom The unit blows warm air Cause/Remedy Air passed through the re-heating coil is warm.
