How to check mis-wiring and serial signal error (when outdoor unit does not work)

Turn off power supply. (indoor/outdoor units)
Turn on power supply. (indoor/outdoor units)
Turn on Emergency operation switch.
Make sure the unit emits a beep tone.
Replace outdoor P.C.board.
Press OPERATE ON/OFF button on remote
controller to send signal.
Check by using Checking Mode.

Disconnect indoor/outdoor wiring (at indoor ter-
minal blocks

Short curcuit between indoor terminal blocks

and
33

While pressing Mode button on remote con-
troller,press Reset button.
Do this where the unit can recieve the signal.
(LCD on remote controller displays all signs.)
Before the unit resumes normal operation.
•Release the checking mode on remote con-
troller by pressing Reset button, and then send
the unit signal to stop operation.
•Turn off power supply to indoor/outdoor units.
•Get indoor terminal blocks of

and
33
open,and reconnect in-out wiring.
Power voltage of terminal blocks of
indoor/outdoor units is normal.
Normal operation starts 3 minutes after
power supply is turned on.
Operation Indicator lamp on the unit
flashes.
Terminal blocks

and
33
on indoor unit is
properly connected to their counter parts
on outdoor unit.
Start
Correct mis-wiring.
Check if connecting or con-
tacting part has no problem.
In checking mode,Operation Indicator
lamp does not indicate its actual state.
❈ Be sure to turn off power supply to indoor/out-
door units in replacing P.C.board.
Replace indoor P.C. board.
Rectify voltage.
When 230V is available for
MSH09NW outdoor unit,replace
the outdoor P.C. board.
