FORBIDDEN NETWORK LIST AND HOME NETWORK NAME
Your SIM may contain a forbidden list of networks which cannot be
used. The SIM also stores the home network name.
To view the forbidden list or show the home network name,
AUTOMATIC NETWORK SEARCH (NORMAL DEFAULT SETTING)
To perform an automatic search from the preferred list,
MANUAL NETWORK SEARCH
When you wish to select a specific network which has better coverage in
your current location, choose manual network search.
Option Description
Modify by list
Displays a list of all known networks con-
tained in the phone in alphabetical order
Modify by code
Edits or enters a network number
(MCC MNC) if you know this information
Delete
Deletes an entry (appears only when net-
work name is already listed)

A list of networks displays. Scroll to your preferred network
and highlight it. Press Select to place your selection in the
preferred list.

To add more to the list, scroll to the next empty line [...] and
continue with step 4. To replace or delete an entry on your
preferred list, highlight the entry, press Options and
continue with step 5.

A list of forbidden networks or the home network displays.
