Connect the red and white audio cables to the AUDIO ,OUT-
PUT terminals on the VCR labeled AUDIO OUT. The red
cable is for connecting the right (R) channel and the white
cable is for connecting the left (L) channel.
If you are connecting your VCR to a mono (no:_-stereo) TV,
connect only the white (L) output from your VCR. Since the TV is
not stereo, you cannot take advantage ofyolar VCR's Hi-Fi stereo
sound.
O Connect the other ends of this cable to th_ AUDIO INPUT
terminals on your TV labeled AUDIO IN.
Connect the yellow video cable to the VIDEO OUTPIFr
terminal labeled VIDEO OUT on the VCR.
Connect the other end of the video cable to the yellow VIDEO
INPUT terminal labeled ¥]DEO IN on the TV.
Make sure you connect the cables to terminah; of the same color.
You will need to set the RF converter to OFF when hooking
up a TV with audio and video inputs. (For more information
on setting the RF converter, see page 55.)
