INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS
I)A4 SEALANT APPLICATION TO WATER PUMP
Specified sealant:
Mitsubishi Genuine Part No. MD970389 or equiva-
lent
I)B4 WATER PIPE / O-RING INSTALLATION
(1) Wet the O-ring (with water) to facilitate the assembly.
Caution
1. Keep the O-ring free of oil or grease.
2. Secure the water pipe after the thermostat housing
has been installed.

Specified sealant:
Mitsubishi Genuine Part No. MD970389 or equiva-
lent
I)D4 THERMOSTAT INSTALLATION
(1) Install the thermostat in the thermostat housing in such a
way that the jiggle valve is located as illustrated.
