Armed stage
Park the vehicle and stop the electric motor unit. Arm the sys-
tem as described below.
1. Remove the key from the electric motor switch.
2. Lock all doors and the liftgate by using the keyless entry
system.
At this time, the theft-alarm indicator (A) in the meter
cluster flashes for confirmation.
3. The system has entered the armed stage after about 20
seconds, when the theft-alarm indicator flashing becomes
slower.
The theft-alarm indicator continues to flash while the sys-
tem is in the armed stage.
Arm the system and leave
