Vehicles equipped with daytime running lights
[When the ready indicator is illuminated, and the parking brake
is released]
The daytime running lights will be illuminated:

OTE
● Once the daytime running light come on, they do not go
out until the electric motor switch is turned to the
“LOCK” or “ACC” position.
[When the ready indicator is not illuminated, or when the ready
indicator is illuminated but the parking brake is not released]
The electric motor unit starts when the lights are off.

Headlights and other lights turn on and off automati-
cally in accordance with outside light level.
