1 Even if a DVD-R(W) disc is recorded in Video format (Video Mode), it may not be playable as a result of scratches, dirt or characteristics specific to the disc, or dirt or condensation on the pickup lens. DVD-R(W) discs that haven’t been finalized, cannot be played. In general, discs recorded in the current format using a PC

(personal computer) are playable. However, certain settings and application software environments may not be able to play these discs. Please ask your application software sales agent for more details.

2 Use finalised music CD-R(W) discs for playback. In some cases, CD-R(W) discs may not play back correctly, unless they have been recorded using a CD-R(W) unit for recording music. Furthermore, CD players may not play back music CD-R(W) discs recorded from a music CD-R(W) recorder as a result of scratches, dirt or

characteristics specific to these discs, or, dirt or condensation on the pickup lens. Text information such as titles recorded on CD-R(W) discs may not be displayed. Read directions carefully regarding disc use before handling CD-R(W) discs. Even if playback of a

CD-RW disc is possible, it may take several seconds before actual sound reproduction begins.
