Adjusting the color alignment
Your Mitsubishi Projection TV has three picture tubes and large diameter
lenses which are arranged in-line to project the light beams. Each picture
tube projects only one color: red, green or blue. For the best color pic-
ture, the three colors should be converged at the center of screen. Here
is the procedure for converging the color beams:
First Time Set-Up
Set the clock
Memorize channels
Add/delete channels
Use Home Theater:. off
Rename the inputs
Color alignment
Use ADJUST to select.
Then press ENTER.
Press MENU to return to
TV Main Menu.
Adjust color alignment
Press VIDEO to select
Red or Blue. Then on
each screen press
ADJUST until the
crosshairs appear white.
Press MENU to return to
First Time Set-Up Menu.

O Select "First Time Set-Up"as-
ing the ADJUST button. Then
press the ENTER button.
Select "Color alignment" using
the ADJUST button. Then press
the ENTER bu_ton.

Select Red or Blue using VIDEO
button, then coverge the red and
blue lines onto the green until the
,green line will turn white.

The cross-bar pattern is intended for use only as a converge aid. It should
not be left on for a long period of time, since damage to the picture
tubes could occur.
Convergence of the light beams can be affected by external factors over
time and convergence readjustment may become necessary. Ifa cha:age
in the color quality of the picture becomes noticable, check the con-
vergence adjustment with the test pattern and readjust as required.
