Adjusting the picture
You can adjust all of your Projection TV's video functions by us-
ing a pair of buttons: select a function with the VIDEO button and
adjust the function with the .ADJUST button. You use the ADJUST
button to:
shift from one end of a scale to the other (e.g., tint),
* increase or decrease the function (e.g., color),
turn the function on or off (e.g., video noise reduction), or
select a position (e.g., color tempurature).
what you will adjust
"Tint" adjusts the proportion of red to green that determines the
delicate tones of color.
"Color" determines the intensity of the color.
"Contrast" controls the level of white-to-black in the picture.
"Bright(ness)" controls the light level of the image on screen.
"Sharpness" adjusts the detail and clarity of the picture:.
"Video N(oise) R(eduction): on/off'' is used to reduce background
noise that can occur with weak signals. Usually this function is set
to "off''.
"Notch filter:on/off'' is used in special cases to stabilize the color
of striped or checked patterns.
"Color temp.(erature): High/Middle/Low" is used to change the
relative warmth of the picture.
"Color bias: Average/Skin-tone/Accurate" is used to improve the
color reproduction depending to the input source.
Important:
"Video NR" and "Color Bias" are automatically set to "off" or
"Average" when turning the Projection TV off, or changing a channel
or an input source.
