Limited Warranty
MITSUBISHIPROJECTIONTELEVISIONLIMITEDWARRANTY
MITSUBISHIDIGITALELECTRONICSAMERICA, INC.("MDEA") warrantsto the originalpurchaserof thistelevisionthat if purchasedfrom an authorized
MITSUBISHIAudio/Video Dealer,should it provedefectiveby reasonet improperworkmanshipand/ormaterial:
a. Parts. Thelenticutar(i.e.front picture)screenand/or the DiamendShietdTM is warrantedagainst defectsin materialsand workmanshipfor a periodof 30 days.
All otherparts arewarrantedfor a periodot one yearfrom the date of the originalpurchaseat retail. Wewill repairor replace,atour option,anydefectivepart
withoutchargefor the part. Parts usedfor replacementmaybe replacedwith thoseof likekind and qualityand may be newor remanufactured. Parts usedfor
replacementare warrantedfor the remainderot the originalwarranty period.
b. Labor. For 30 days after the originalpurchaseat retail,we will repair or replace,at our option,the lenticularscreen if it provesdefective. Forall other parts,
wewill providethe labor fora warrantyrepair by anauthorizedMITSUBISHIservicecenter withoutcharge forone yearfrom the originaldate or purchaseat
retail.
c. Notice. Toobtain warrantyservice,you mustnotify an authorizedMITSUBISHIservicecenter ofany defectwithinthe applicablewarranty timeperiod.
1. TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:
a. Contactyour nearestauthorizedMITSUBISHIservicecenter whosenameand addresscan be obtainedfromyour MITSUBISHIdealeror by writingorcalling
MDEAatthe addressand telephonenumber providedbelow.
b.Warrantyservice will be providedin your homeor, if required,at an authorizedserviceshop,providedthat your televisionislocatedwithin the geographic
territory customarilycoveredby anauthorizedMITSUBISHIservicecenter. If net,you musteither deliveryourtelevisionto an authorizedservice locationat
your own expense,or payfor anytraveland/or transportationcosts the servicecentermaychargeto andfrom your home. Actual servicelaborwill be provided
withoutcharge.
c. Proof of purchasedate from an authorizedMITSUBISHIdealeris requiredwhen requestingwarranty service. Presentyour salesreceiptor otherdocument
whichestablishes proofand date of purchase. THERETURNOF THEOWNERREGISTRATIONCARD IS NOTA CONDITIONOFWARRANTYCOVERAGE.
However,pleasereturnthe Owner RegistrationCardso thatwe cancontact youshould a questionof safety arisewhich could affectyou.
2. THIS WARRANTYDOES NOTCOVERdamageto Diamond Shield,LenticularscreenorFreenellens, screenframe, cosmeticdamageotto anyotherproduct
wheresuch damageiscaused byunauthorizedmodification,alteration,repairsto orserviceof the productby anyoneotherthan an authorizedMITSUBISHI
servicecenter; physicalabuse to ormisuseof the product(includinganyfailure to carry out anymaintenanceas describedinthe Owner's Guideor anyproduct
damagedbyexcessivephysicalor electricalstress); any productsthat havehada serial numberor anypartthereof altered,defacedorremoved;productusein
any mannercontraryto the Owner'sGuide (including unevenpicturetube agingand imprinted imageson the viewingscreen);freightdamage;or anydamage
caused byacts of Godor otherfactorsbeyondthe reasonablecontrolel MDEA,such aspowersurge damagecaused byelectrical systemor lightning. This
warranty also excludesservice callswhere no detectin the productcoveredunderthis warrantyisfound, servicecalls relatedto unsatisfactoryaudioorvisual
receptionorsignal unlesscauseda defectin the productthat is coveredunder thiswarranty,all costs,expensesor anyotherdamagesarisingfrom product
installation,orset-ups, anyadjustmentsof usercontrols (includingconvergence,contrast,brightness,color,tint, finetuning,sharpness),other adjustment
necessaryto preparethe unitfor displayor use,connectionwith any externalaudio receiver,antenna,cable orsatellitesystems, orserviceof products
purchasedor servicedoutsidethe U.S.A. Pleaseconsultthe operatinginstructionscontainedinthe Owner'sGuidefurnishedwith the productfor information
regardinguser controls.
3. ANY EXPRESS WARRANTY NOT PROVIDED HEREIN, AND ANY REMEDY WHICH, BUT FOR THIS PROVISION, MIGHT ARISE BY IMPLICATION
OR OPERATION OF LAW, IS HEREBY EXCLUDED AND DISCLAIMED. THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR ANY
PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO A TERM OF ONE YEAR.
4. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL MDEA BE LIABLE TO PURCHASER OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER ARISING OUT OF BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE.
5. Somestates de not allowlimitationson hew longan impliedwarrarlylasts,ortheexclusionorlimitationof incidental,special orconsequentialdamages,so
the abovelimitationsorexclusionsmay notapply to you.
6. Thiswarrantygives youspecificlegal rights,and you mayalso haveother rightswhichvary fromstatetostate.
7. BEFOREREQUESTINGSERVICE,pleasereviewthe instructionbookletto insureproperinstallationand correctcustomercontroladjustment. If the problem
persists,contactyour nearestMITSUBISHIDealerforthe name(s)of authorizedMITSUBISHIServiceCenter(s). If you areunableto obtainthis information,
