The Scariers are is engineered with an 8” Cutting Drum. The SG-9 has a Honda engine and the
SG-5 has a Baldor motor. The scarier is designed with ne depth control allowing the operator to
make depth adjustments in 1/16-inch increments.
The Scariers use a 6-inch diameter, 8-inch long cutting drum with 6 hardened steel shafts that will
accommodate the most common cutting discs.
The Scarier is designed to grind surfaces, remove old coatings, prepare surfaces before applying
new coatings, roughen surfaces, groove surfaces and slot surfaces.
Depending on cutting wheel style, production rate varies from 350 to 500 square feet per hour for a 1/8-inch
removal depth.
