Pet Door and Mail Slot Legal Disclaimer
The following is the terms of agreement between Milliken Millwork, Inc. and the Buyer of goods through
Milliken Millwork, Inc. or one of its licensed dealers as it pertains to the alteration, modification, or
installation of Pet Doors or Mail Slots to the purchased product.
1. The Buyer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this document that state the
alteration, installation or modification of any kind to the product purchased, may or may not
result in loss of any and all security previously provided by the product prior to modification or
installation.
2. If the buyer alters or modifies their product after purchase, or purchases the product with a
modification (ie. Installed Pet Door or Mail Slot) from Milliken Millwork, Inc. or one of its
licensed dealers the buyer understands that the aforementioned installation or modification to
the product may or may not compromise the security or integrity of the product.
3. The buyer understands that Milliken Millwork will not be held liable for any loss or damage of
property due in part or in whole to the alteration or modification of the product and
understands that said alteration or modification may or may not reduce or compromise the
structural integrity or security of the product after installation or modification.
4. Please note: The goods provided are “AS IS” and all warranties, express or implied, are
disclaimed (including but not limited to the disclaimer of any implied warranties of
merchantability for a particular purpose) after alteration, installation (of a Pet Door or Mail Slot)
or modification of any kind to the buyer’s product.
5. Buyer agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Milliken Millwork, Inc. and its affiliates, licensors
and suppliers harmless from any liability, loss, claim, and expense, including reasonable
attorney’s fees, related to a Buyer’s violation of this contract.
This Agreement represents the entire understanding between you and us and supersedes any prior
statements or representations. PURCHASE OF THE PRODUCT CONSTITUTES AGREEMENT FROM THE
BUYER DECLARING THEM BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
