To move between proles, tap the double arrows to either side of the
prole name.
When satised with the settings, tap OK or press the left soft key. The
currently displayed Prole will be applied.
Access the Prole Controller from the Today screen
You may need to change proles quickly and it is useful to be able to see
at a glance which prole is active. There are two ways to make Prole
Controller present on the Today screen:
(a) Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Today > Items tab and check the box for •
Prole Controller
OR:
(b) Within Prole Controller, check Show Prole Controller. •
Now you can change the active prole simply by tapping the Prole name.
With successive taps, the device cycles through the proles in the sequence:
Normal > Meeting > Silent > Outdoor > Headset > Normal. •
However, if you choose not to display the Prole Controller on the Today
screen, you can still pick and apply a new prole from the Prole Controller
by tapping Start > Settings > Prole Controller. When you tap OK within the
Prole Controller, the currently displayed Prole is immediately applied.
TIP: If you mark, or clear, the check box for Show Prole Controller on any prole settings
page, the same setting is automatically copied to all the other proles.
Enable automatic prole selection for appointments
With the Prole Controller displayed on the Today Screen, tap the check box
next to Auto. When the box has a check mark in it, the device will use the
information about appointments in your Calendar to switch automatically
between the Normal and Meeting proles at the set times.
