Digitally sign a message
Digitally signing a message applies your public-key certicate to the
message. This proves to the recipient that the message is from you and not
from an impostor, and that the message has not been altered.
On the Today screen, tap 1.
Start > Messaging.
Select an e-mail account from the list.2.
Click Menu > New.3.
Click Menu > Message Options.4.
5. From the Security list, choose from the drop down menu.
6. Tap OK.
NOTE: S/MIME encryption and digital signatures for Windows Mobile-based devices are
available only with Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 or later versions that support
S/MIME. If you are not using one of these products, or have not yet synchronized, these
options will be unavailable.
