This effect also appears when mounting a D22 at the center of a wall and you are
turning the base of the camera. This will also allow to capture a larger area of the
room with the camera, but the image is again tilted.

Note
When mounting the D22 to a wall, you should always use the wall
mount.
When mounting the camera directly to the wall without using the
wall mount, you should mount the camera in the center of a wall, if
you would like to maximize the area monitored by the camera.
If you cannot install the D22 to the ceiling and using the D22 wall
mount is also not possible, you should consider using a MOBOTIX D12
instead. MOBOTIX D12 models are more flexible than the D22 when
positioning the camera modules thanks to the larger housing.
