2.5 Mounting With the On-Wall Set
1) Prepare the network connection: You can use any one of the four openings
in the On-Wall set to guide the cabling into the camera. When using the On-
Wall set, you cannot mount it directly on top of a protruding wall outlet.
2) Drill the holes: Drill the holes for the supplied dowels. Use the supplied drill-
ing template for the On-Wall set (fold-out at the end of this manual) to mark
the position for drilling the dowel holes and the holes through which the ca-
bles will be led later on.
3) Apply silicone: Before mounting the set, apply
some silicone around each hole to prevent wa-
ter from entering the housing. Make sure that
the back of the pressure equalization ele-
ment is not sealed off by silicone!
4) Mount the On-Wall set: Use the delivered screws to mount the On-Wall set
(without the camera) at the designated position.
5) Prepare the cabling: Guide the cable into the inside of the On-Wall set.
6) Remove the outer shell: Remove all four Al-
len screws using the supplied Allen wrench.
Take off the outer shell.
