2.6 Mounting to a Ceiling Using the In-Ceiling Set
1) Prepare the network connection: Prepare the network connection by guid-
ing the network cable above the ceiling. Make sure that you still have
enough free cable available.
2) Prepare the camera hole: Cut the hole for the camera. Use the supplied cut-
ting template of the In-Ceiling set at the end of the manual!
3) Remove the outer shell: Remove all four Al-
len screws using the supplied Allen wrench.
Take off the outer shell.
4) Remove the mounting ring: Disengage the
mounting ring from the housing of the cam-
era. This ring is not required when mounting
the camera to the In-Ceiling set.
5) Attach the camera to the In-Ceiling set: In-
sert the camera into the In-Ceiling set. The
tapered guides on the back of the camera
housing fit exactly into the openings of the
In-Ceiling set.
6) Connect the cable: Connect the network ca-
ble to the network cable of the camera using
a patch cable connector.
