2.10 Operating the MOBOTIX Q22M-Secure With SD Card
If you would like to remove, insert or exchange the SD card, you need to dismantle
the camera. In order to avoid loss of data, you need to make sure that you deacti-
vate SD card recording and reboot the MOBOTIX camera before removing the card.
2.10.1 Removing an SD Card
1) Deactivate recording: Make sure that recording on SD card has been deac-
tivated in Admin Menu> Storage on External File Server/ Flash Device. If
SD card recording is still active, deactivate the recording and reboot the cam-
era. Section3.5,
SD Card Recording , contains more information on this topic.
2) Remove the outer shell: Remove all four Al-
len screws using the supplied Allen wrench.
Take off the outer shell.
3) Remove the back plate: Remove the screws
of the back plate using the supplied 2mm Al-
len wrench and lift off the back plate. Be care-
ful not to damage the connector inside the
camera housing.

An SD card may only be removed from the camera after you have
deactivated
Recording to SD Card and rebooted the camera. Fail-
ing to do so may lead to loss of data!
