Your Prodigy Advance DCC System includes the
following:

2. Base unit
3. Cab cord
4. Cab with LCD screen
Prodigy Advance Power Supply and Base Unit
1. Power supply – 16 VAC at 3.5 amps.
2. Cab select switch – Used to select from “1 to 8
Cabs” or “All Cabs” (1-99).
3. “Factory use only” jack – For factory use only at
this time and will be used for future upgrades. Do
not insert foreign objects into this port. Inadvertently
plugging a Cab into this port will not damage the
system, although the Cab will not function.
4. Cab jacks (three) – Plug up to 3 Prodigy Advance
Cabs or use these ports to expand to a network of
additional Cab plug-in ports around the layout. Up
to 99 Cabs can be used in a network.
5. Power on/off switch – Turns base unit power on/off.
6. Power light – Glows when system is on.
7. Link light – Flashes during transmission of program
data from the Cab to the Base Unit. This lets you
know the Base Unit is receiving and accepting data.
The light remains off all other times.
8. Cooling fan – Does not operate all the time; will
only come on during times of heavy load on the
layout.
9. Terminal plug output to main layout track and
program track
10. 15 VAC input from power supply
11. 15 VAC output to base unit
Note Prodigy Advance does not support NON-decoder equipped analog locos.
