Library notes

Pre-compiled versions of some non-standard libraries and packages are no longer

provided. The ARITHMETIC library, which contained a package for doing signed

and unsigned vector arithmetic, is no longer included. However, you can

download the source file at ftp://ftp.model.com/pub/obsolete/arithmetic.tar. The

source for the ieee-precompiled version is in

vhdl_src/synopsys/mti_std_logic_arith.vhd

The packages NUMERIC_EXTRA, NUMERIC_SIGNED,

NUMERIC_UNSIGNED, and STD_LOGIC_1164_EXTENSIONS, all from the

IEEE library, are no longer included. However you can download the source file

at ftp://ftp.model.com/pub/obsolete/mentor.tar.
