warrants to the fi rst non-dealer purchaser of any of its products that they are to be
free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of fi ve (5) years from the date of purchase
for all indoor products. For outdoor products: electrical components, including LED components are
warranted for fi ve (5) years; outdoor painted fi nishes are warranted for two (2) years. Stainless steel
fi nish products are warranted for lifetime, under normal use, as long as the Original Purchaser owns
the product. Although Modern Forms
™
uses the best available materials and does extensive testing for
fi nish endurance, some fading or chalking may occur and is considered normal. For coastal locations,
some corrosion and/or deterioration is considered “normal wear” in this environment. Therefore, any
fi nish claim due to coastal environment conditions is not applicable to our warranty.
If a product is defective, all efforts will be made to correct the problem in the fi eld. If the problem
cannot be resolved, an RGA number will be issued through the distributor through which the fi xture
was purchased. The Company’s obligation under this warranty shall not extend beyond the direct
replacement of the fi xture itself and excludes any other costs including but not limited to labor
and material costs.
This warranty shall not apply to products that have been altered, improperly installed, mishandled
or misused. Notice of a defect in writing must be received by Modern Forms
™
within fi ve (5) years
from the date of purchase. Note: Modern Forms
™
product warranty applies only to purchases from
authorized distributors. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION
ON THE FACE HEREOF INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
