WARNING – Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the appliance is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance. If it will not fit into the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by aqualified electrician.

TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL OPERATION A. Be sure the disposal is empty before using your dishwasher so it can drain properly. B. You may want to leave the stopper in the drain when not in use to prevent utensils and foreign objects falling into the disposal. C. Your disposal is ruggedly built to give you many years of trouble free service.

INS10477 - 8/15 TROUBLESHOOTING Before seeking repair or replacement, we recommend that you review the following: NOISES: • (Other than those during grinding of small bones and fruit pits): These are usually caused by accidental entry of a spoon, bottle cap, dishwasher knockout plug (page 8, step 8) or other foreign object. • To correct this, turn off the electrical switch and the water. After the disposal has stopped running, remove the object from the disposal.
